Some paintings of Europe from last summer

Women and their children on boats in Naples,
a storm appearing out of nowhere as we left Cinque Terra
and a remembrance of a beautiful lunch on the patio at La Columbe d'Or
(the food was fantastic but the artwork left for the owner from Picasso and other greats
as payment for meals made this one of the most memorable days of the trip).
On the patio are Skip, Mom and Dad.

Taciturnity - The Skyler Disconnect

I did this of Sky, underwater, in the pool yet, in his own world. This 11 ft. wide triptych shows my desire to "contain" my teenager as he tries to gain more independence by alienating me. His tools of choice for disconnecting? iPods, MySpace, Texting, IMing, Facebook, cell phone and T.V. to connect to everyone else.
